  10. I love to scrapbook..for special occasions like birthdays, graduations,and school events like my son's sophomore banquet and band tournaments. I love to take pictures and give whoever I took pictures of so they can cherish those moments forever. I believe a picture is worth a thousand words.When it is our time to go, all we can leave behind are memories to be cherished with the ones we love through pictures.

  15. Aloha; I love to make and give "Homegrown & Handmade" gifts tht you can eat/or use in cooking. For example; I find unique bottles and make "Basil-oil" attach a cute hand made card with the recipe for "Carolyn's Bruschettas" another one is... find a cute basket, make a "Pillow" that fits into the bottom, filled with rice. make a matching napkin, attach the card that tells you to heat pillow in microwave oven for no more than 4 minutes and fill with muffins or rolls to keep warm on your table for up to 45 minutes !
    Ttaaa Ddaa ! Great gifts from my home to yours ! Enjoy ! Carolyn

  21. I just found my favorite medium of crafting: upcycling mail envelopes & scratch paper into repurposed notebooks. I love that I can be green by saving things from going into the trash, then add cute stamps, stickers & embellishments, and voila! a handy dandy place to jot down those stray thoughts, shopping lists, quotable quotes, etc.

  24. I love to craft just about everything that gets my attention. I junk dive and refurbish the furniture I find, I make cards, now I'm making hair accessories and sewing bags, pennant style banners and baby bottle props to sell. I've always crafted all my life but at almost 42 years old, I'm realizing that I can actually make money doing something I love.

  29. Ms Faye at KIS,
    I truly can't decide on one specific craft I like most to do...I enjoy all sorts of crafts. Beading, painting, crocheting, sewing, stamping, weaving, jewelry making on and on. I guess if I could pick one thing it would be taking any recycle item(used gift cards, plastic bottles, plastic bags, kleenex boxes, soup cans, old magazines etc) and applying one of the above crafting skill I mentioned and teach my student how to create functional items to give to our friends and family. Real cheap...real GREEN!

  31. I love the thrill of recycling or upcycling a toss-away into something new, like a paperbag or CD book bound w/ Zutter's Bind-it-all; an AccuCut diecut gift bag or box embellished with magazine punchouts; or glass etching a coffee bottle. Challenging and rewarding!

  35. I recently joined a taiko class, and after seeing everyone's cute drawstring bags for their taiko sticks, it inspired me to dust off my sewing machine after years of storage and create my own bag. From then, I've been hooked! I want to sew and make more and more cute things!

  36. I love to craft with photos and scrapbook pages. I love to make cards for every day use as well as holidays. My kids live on the mainland so I stay in touch by sending them a card/gift each month and making it myself adds that special touch! I journal and I like to add embellishments so that it's fun to go back and read years later.

  37. I love to make cards and other paper crafts using my Sizzix, stamps and other supplies. I also love to do beading and meet with 4 other beaders on Monday evenings. Sharing is also a big thing so I have taught groups of 10 -20 how to make cards. Each person gets a kit for each card with the directions and all supplies are included. No charge. Just the fellowship is a high for me.

  38. I try to get my hands into everything, but it gives me great pleasure to create note cards for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, thank yous, etc. Customizing a card for a special person makes it even more special to give and receive. So much fun and the possibilities are endless. I can always count on BF in time of need. Mahalo! Audrey :}

  48. I haven't checked this website in a long time but my passion seems to be making notecards. I don't care for all the excess embellishments, preferring a more simple card. But there are lots of ideas out there!

  49. Crafting has always been a favorite activity since childhood. Although I don't have enough time to craft as often now, I do craft to create props on various jobs. It could be faux vintage wallpaper, a giant frame, or personalized bedroom knick-knacks. Of course, all supplies come from Ben Franklin! Also, whenever I need supplies to make a "fun" birthday cake like a beach scene or octopus, it's from BF. Lately, I have been playing around with the cool clear stamps and card/scrapbook products. Happy crafting everyone!

  58. I love crocheting but the way I crochet is with my toes on my foot that don't bend well due to a total knee replacement and my one good hand. I'm paralyzed so I make due with what little I have. I love crocheting air freshener dolls, kitchen towels and doll clothes.
    Crocheting helps me to focus on what I can do instead of what I can't.
    Thanks for the chance!
