Lunch Box Notes

Back to school time made me think of all the little notes I used to tuck into my kid's lunches and backpacks.  When I saw the packs of Studio G note cards with envelopes and the trendy word stamps (that fit perfectly on the cards) plus the acrylic blocks to mount the clear cling stamps, I thought I'd share the great deal with all of you loving parents.  At HM Ben Franklin Crafts there are lots of these Studio G products (including some ribbons, brads and tapes) for a mere $1.50 or 4 for $5!!!!! I just had to squeeze in this back to school bargain before they run out.  Love notes will make your kids smile inside for years!
P.S. Here are some sample notes that I made to keep on hand.  The top two were simply stamped and then sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat embossed.  The bottom three were heat embossed with black powder and using a glue pen (Martha Stewart) I added glitter flocking (MS) or Doodlebug glitter. The bottom far right card was simply colored in with opaque ink pens. Even if you don't have kids to encourage with sweet notes, you can always leave a love note in your hubby's briefcase. *wink*wink*

  1. Oh, what a great idea!! Unfortunately I don't have any kids, but I do have a God son and of course all my friends and co-workers have kids, so making a few of these for them to slip in to backpacks or lunch boxes is perfect!! Thanks for sharing another valuable idea Lynn!
