Easter seems to have sprung up so fast that I barely had time to complete these two cards featuring the adorable Art Impression image. Since the bunnies and wagon of eggs are too tedious for me to fussy cut, I decided to mask them and water color the scene. I'm pretty proud that my watercolored sky and grass are getting better. I messed up a little on the eggs because my surface was too damp and the colors bled out. A little Stickles glitter glue helped but I wished that I had used Wink of Stella to achieve a more subtle sparkle. (These products are available at HM Ben Franklin Crafts.)
The papers I used were from my stash and included one that had words which matched the image...amazing! The dotted card stock came from a Studio G pack (sold at BFC for only $1.50!).The ribbons and Prima flowers (old stash) were also from Ben Franklin Crafts. I bought the mini Perfect Layers ruler and cutting mat a while ago but only recently realized how it simplifies a task (cutting thin borders on layers of papers) that I normally find tedious. I guess I'm a slow learner or resistant to change. LOL! Anyway, thanks for visiting and have a very Happy Easter! If you are not too busy dyeing and hunting Easter eggs, leave a comment....love hearing from you!
