Personalizing a Christmas Stocking

I purchased a cute stocking at Daiso and thought it would be fun to fill for my new grandson.  I wanted to personalize it but didn't trust my handwriting skills with a marker.  I considered sequins, die cut felt or plastic letters but eventually settled on gluing fluffy yarn onto the stocking.  I think it turned out quite well for a 15 minute project using a bargain priced Diaso item.
