I couldn't wait to try out the Lawn Fawn tag/bookmark stamps and dies. I also wanted to test out the new Ken Oliver Color Burst powders and Liquid Metals. The solution was to test out the colors on some watercolor paper and turn the resulting tests into tags/bookmarks.
Although my photos don't show up the products very well, I think both the powders and liquid metals are gorgeous and just a little packs a punch. The Liquid Metals have a lovely pearly iridescence and gorgeous swirling blendable colors. I love the powders too because the bottles have very tiny applicators that allow you to sprinkle the potent colors exactly where you want them.
To use these tags as bookmarks simply don't glue down the paws. I chose decorative yarns from my stash of fibers that I've collected over the years. If you are giving a planner for a gift, the bookmark/tags are the perfect add-on.
In the future I will do more projects with the new Ken Olive products. Just a little burst of color can add so much to your paper crafting, Please come back to this blog site to see what holiday crafts I create this year....gotta get busy crafting!

Oh my! I love everything about your bookmarks! First off, the bear and reindeer is so crazy CUTE...especially with adorable little their backsides! This stamp set is gonna be hard for me to resist. Second, the effect you achieved with the Ken Oliver powders and liquid metals is beautiful. I'm especially curious about these products since I really love the water color effect backgrounds I've been seeing so much of lately, but been to scared to try. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your projects using this Ken Oliver product. Would be great if you could include a mini step by step!
